The name isn't marketing. It's a philosophy. Too much of modern technology is designed to make you dependent, on subscriptions you don't need, on cloud services that mine your data, on vendors who make their equipment impossible to maintain without a service contract.
My approach is the opposite: I set things up so they work, so you understand what you have, and so you're not locked into anything. Local-first solutions, open standards, hardware you control.
I treat your privacy with the same rigor I treat my own: your data belongs to you, and no one else.

How I Work
Consultations
You describe the situation, I ask questions, and I give you an honest assessment. If it's a quick answer, I'll tell you for free.
On-site Work
I come to you with my tools and parts inventory, and I stay until the job is complete. I don't leave a mess, and I don't leave without making sure you understand what was done.
Remote Support
If you have a managed network I deployed, there's a good chance I can fix the problem from my desk without a truck roll.
Follow-ups
Free for commercial clients if an issue I addressed comes back. I stand behind my work.
